1. How is the data stored?
The UTAG® Digital Dogtag stores the data on flash memory, the type that is used in all of today's
modern equipment such as cameras, phones etc...

2. Do the people reading the UTAG® Digital Dogtag have to have a special program to read it?
No! the UTAG® Digital Dogtag is a fully independent unit, it runs automatically when the stick is inserted
into the USB drive of the receivers Computer or Laptop, and all the data remains on the
UTAG® Digital Dogtag afterwards and is not transferred to another computer, meaning your details
always stay on the UTAG® Digital Dogtag.

3. Can NHS Hospitals access my data on their computers?
The NHS are being supplied with stand alone readers, which is basically a card reader. This will
enable Accident and Emergency departments. to view your details without risk to their systems.

4. What about scene of accident units?
Scene of Accident Police and Ambulance crew will have access, as they use stand alone systems as it is.

5. Can people change my details without my knowledge?
No! the detail input screen is password protected so any data on there can only be read by another
person and not edited

6. Is it waterproof?
The UTAG® Digtial Dogtag is a sealed aluminium unit, so although not totally waterproof, it is able
to withstand the worst of what the British weather can throw at you.

7. Why would i need one?
This is probably the most asked question, if you have existing medical problems then the answer is easy, all your medication and medical history can be stored along with hospital numbers, consultants contact details etc.. but if you have no medical problems then it is just as important, as you can put contact details of those that would need contacting in an Emergency, as well as any family history of illness along with your blood type and even a message to pass on in case of Emergency, the details you can store are limitless so you can be as creative as you like.

8. What does I C E stand for?
I.C.E stand for In Case of Emergency and is fast becoming recognised as an emergency symbol, a lot of people have a contact in their phone called ICE under which they store the number of the person who should be called in an emergency, but as phones as so advanced they are usually the first things to be broken in an accident, but jointly using the UTAG® Digital Dogtag and the phone method aids the Emergency Services even more.


9, Why was the UTAG® Digital Dogtag created?
UTAG® has been developed by Former SAS soldiers for use in an Emergency. With its unique and durable dogtag design, the UTAG® Digital Dogtag electronically stores vital information on a USB ‘stick
it is also being supported by Suzi Perry (Presenter of Channel 5's Gadget show and pit lane interviewer at World Superbike and MotoGP.
